I was having very bad and irritating issues with the coop, we practically couldn't join each other ever and here is how we fixed it:
1. You have to download windscribe (it's a free VPN on the internet) then run it
2. Press ON and turn firewall OFF (in the app)
3. Start Dead Space 3 and enjoy the coop!
It really simple and it worked, but if it still doesn't work try to port forward, flush dns, disabling services etc.. basic stuff you can find on the internet and try again
Hope you have a great day!
That's not at all what it is! This is the only game I have on the EA launcher! I just bought this game and Gifted a copy to my son to play co-op together and it fails to join every time! I assure you, neither of us has ever used a cheat engine, nor do we play with anyone that does.
If you bothered to look into the issue, instead of instantly jumping to conclusions and accusing people of cheating, you would see that there are tons of people in the General forum complaining about this exact, same, issue.
You're a fool! I just Gifted the game to my son for Christmas! He never even played this, or any other Dead Space game before. I only ever played the game's tutorial, and for the 2 hours we messed with it, trying to invite each other to the game. It is also the ONLY game I have in my EA Library. I have NEVER used in ANY online game,EVER! I have no problems playing any of my other online games. Neither does my son. Only this game. And if you bothered to look at the forums you would see a ton of people having the same issue.
My son and I had this same issue. We discovered that Private co-op sessions don't work. You have to create a Public session and then the other player has to click on Browse Friend's Games, or whatever it says, in the co-op menu.
It has NOTHING to do with people cheating. My son and I were having the same issue. We discovered that Private Co-op sessions do not work. You have to make a Public co-op session and then the other player has to click on Browse Friends Games, or whatever the button says, in the co-op menu, and join them that way. Once we did that we had no problem joining one another.
You,re being FAR too quick in assuming, and accusing, other people of being cheaters. Which really makes no sense. It's a CO-OP game. Not a PVP game. Why would EA be banning people from playing CO-Op with one another? And banning them from playing PRIVATE CO-OP sessions, where an INVITE is needed? That makes zero sense. Nice try.
