Dead Space 3 Bugs Thread

Post known bugs here. Remember that bugs pertaining to the game engine are pointless, as they won't be patched. Post issues with the origin wrapper/port instead.

To fix Origin not detecting DS3 on steam and asking to re-download:

Navigate to your installation directory and launch ~\steamapps\common\Dead Space 3\deadspace3.exe. Should be fine then, and will work normally after one launch.

I only ran into funny glitches. Nothing game breaking. But someone I was playing with, they shot the deer head as soon as the cutsense started. Crashed their game lol

Game breaking bug in 13: Reach for the Sky when you need to reunite with Ellie and kill the spider during the harpoon part no matter how violently I smash the F key or B key on my controller it will always escape.

Game froze on me and I had to restart my PC to close down the application.

Probably because the game is running through two launchers when it was never designed for that. EA are lazy scum.

Been having a pretty consistent issue with the telekinesis and im not sure what exactly triggers it. Essentially the issue is that sometimes after using it i'll be stuck as if i was holding down the aim button which means i cant interact with anything, run, or melee. Im currently at a point where its happened again right before i have to climb a ladder and right after a save so i cant progress or go back as the issue persists through saving and restarting the game and origin.

The only times i've actively seen the issue begin (while not in combat so i wasn't already holding down right click to aim) was one instance where i was moving a body and threw it against a wall to check for an item drop and the other had whatever i was holding get knocked out of telekinesis from terrain blocking it.

It isn't an issue with my mouse as i've had it happen with a controller as well.

Failed to join co-op played with friend up to chapter 6 then all of a sudden we get failed to join message. both of us can launch game. just cant join each other.

can't access dlc, said connection problem to origin even though i can play co-op just fine

Sadly didn`t work for me. Still Origin aks me to install the game.
