Missing Online Access

So game runs, can play, however I can not use online access like Mass Effect Archives or the multiplayer section for the game. It says I have access through steam on my EPlay account deluxe edition. Game loads , tries to connect then just says Missing Online Access. I chatted with EA help. Asked me to verify files, I did and still not access. Asked me to reinstall the game. Did, still not working. Then they told me to contact Steam, I tried but they told me to contact EA. does anything know a fix for this. I feel like I am just getting the run around.

This has been a known problem since they upgraded the game to "Deluxe edition" a while ago. If you happened to have the standard edition or didnt own it without EA play it flags the online services for some reason. Theres only a couple ways to fix it. You either have to buy a copy of the game (which you can find for under $10 on a grey market site like kinguin, g2a, etc), contact EA again explain the problem and tell them its through EA play and hope you get someone that knows what they are doing (probably take a few tries), Try and uninstall the game and see if you can get it taken out of your game library then re add it. I had this problem before when I had EA play via steam, I ended up canceling it from steam and got EA play off EA app which fixed it temporarily. Ultimately I got the game for under $5 and that just fixed it all together.
