I wish a ME: Andromeda 2
I've startet with ME Andromeda and played the predecessors afterwards...but I really wish, that Andromeda would be continued... I love the story and the worlds and I would love more interesting content for the game instead of doing on each planet exactly the same jobs. The setting of the world, the combat system and "the look and feel" is fantastic in my eyes but the content can't keep up. Sad.
But still a full recommendation!

I agree, fanboys sabotaged the hell outta MEA, called it pure trash which it is far from, so a MEA 2 is almost certainly never going to happen. Andromeda was easily my most favorite in the series, despite it being a flawed game. The previous I dont hate, but are so story focused they made me want to fall asleep.

Agreed. Andromeda has plenty of flaws, but the premise is far better than the original trilogy to be honest.

Agreed. I just beat the game and had tons of fun, I hope we get some sort of sequel in the future.

This game had potential but they did a poor job on it, it took some time to fix a lot of the major issues, not all fixed I dont think but by then was too late.

Ending everything on a cliff hanger and knowing were never gonna have a complete story, and the dlc is the nail in the coffin.

Thus we have to hope the next game makes up fo rit....I'm not that hopeful it's gonna win the og's back as it sounds they are trying to hide woke stuff that gamers these days are canceling studios over.

I hope for the best but I'm expecting the worse.

It certainly deserves a sequel... but Mass Effect 1 - 3 deserve it more. Supposedly Metacritic not having 80 or over score destroyed Andromeda getting a sequel.

Tricky thing is Andromeda is only Andromeda, because they hit a reset switch. What would be in Andromeda 2? A second system? Growing the current Outposts doesn't have as much joy and discovery once you've already done it all.

There are a ton of plot hooks lining up a sequel. There's the Quarian (+Hanar, Drell, etc.) ark and whatever weird trouble it ran into. There's the Kett cardinal that sided against the main villain. There's the greater Kett empire in other systems. There's the looming knowledge of the fate of the Milky Way approaching. There's the mystery benefactor. Whatever the heck is going on with the Scourge. The Angara are still coming to terms with their creation. The Ryder's mother needs to be cured. Just in this one game, there are plenty of events set up to have full storylines in at the very least a pair of sequels to mirror ME 1-3.

Yes would be amazing disaster.
If they got a competent animator to do the job, I would be down for a sequel. I can't take another weird eyes and constipated facial feature game.
A sequel isn't gonna happen they clearly abandoned this potential series and going back to original frame work which is for the best but after this many years and no real info it's not looking too good.
There was nothign wrong with Andromeda that a sequel couldn't fix. Like, the whole game got crucified for bad faces...

It's ok though, I'm sure ME5 will show us a "triumphant return to form" like Failguard did.
Andromeda needed a big DLC or simply a huge update pack. Imagine that you cannot shoot Ketts while being inside Nomad. Even Mako had guns installed in ME1. I had heard so many bad things about Andromeda but finally decided to try it, about 90 hours on the clock now, almost eveything done and explored, level 60, my first playthrough and about to depart to Meridian, the final planet to finish the story. Definitely not a bad game, not great though, but a solid game with certain moments of brilliance here and there.

"A solid game with moments of brilliance" is a luxury now. I'll die on a hill that Andromeda is the best game Bioware released since ME2 and SWTOR. Far from flawless, but ♥♥♥♥, it wasn't even done by the main team. They were the guys who made ME3 multiplayer before. Imagine what they could have done with actual experience.

I think making it open world was a huge part off the problem. Just a ♥♥♥♥ ton of boring worthless filler, and stretched everything out, nothing really looks that great in it models are just bad.

I think they are taking it back to it's original style, and I dont care if that means I cant jump around like a bunny to avoid shots.
