Yes! Since the game was listed on steam and added to the EA gamepass there has been a steady stream of new players and us oldies regularly drop in to complete daily prestige challenges and playable strike team missions

Yes, I think buying on steam requires you to create/link an EA account and login to the EA app to play. However some players experience connectivity issues with certain other players for mysterious reasons. For example, one of my friends can join my lobby if I host, but I can't connect to his lobby if he hosts

Yes it was a pretty popular wave based survival PvE with some minimal build crafting (thought it was mostly just rng)
