steam only wants the third party App Game money ..
Doesn't mean you get to play it in peace ..
i play on EA App ..
steam suks for third party ..
~on purpose
"press spaebar to start"
press spacebar and wait. wait for maybe ten seconds. you will notice the
top option on the right hand side of the screen "offline" will flash orange.
after a few seconds it will say "online"
I missed this myself at first! wait for that "offline" to go "online" the game
automatically tries to connect, it takes a moment. if you click start game
or "resume" it will abort login. and you cant switch to multiplayer apex in game.
Good Catch ..
i wait for the Orange 'Online' in EA before resuming ..
Best to Load a saved game though ..

That is literally the first thing you see in the main menu. And that is what failing for me. It never goes online. It fails and shows me the Missing Online Access message.
and account making for origin (already had one) the linking of origin and steam
and then it just worked. its always been this way. I did not buy me3 solo because it was
known to have many steam conflicts. I did buy LE tho, and finally did play me3. not beaten yet, like mea better.
if steam and origin are not cooperating than that could be it.
why dont they? are both updated? probably yea. I dont know man.
origin "light" comes with the steam install. if it is unable to communicate freely it might
not log you into origin online even though it did open and did allow you to play
perhaps this is steam asserting your right to play. but origin not recognising your right
to play MP. no idea. spitballing.
good luck. for an insanity run its very helpful to use apex for additional resources.
not nessesery tho.
**consider either external (hardware) or software router blocking of the ports origin
uses. if default blocked. unblock them for origin and mea. **
but I did see suggestions that seemed to be... hostile. so to speak.
any solution will involve valve or EA's verifiable code. or less than that hopefully.
if it doesnt come from valve you cant blame valve. same for EA.
If you can play singleplayer but not multiplayer then your account has lost (or never properly gotten) the multiplayer entitlement. This is something only EA support can fix, and not chat and email staff, but a DM on Twitter to @EAHelp.
They don't even reply to Twitter DMs
