Recommendation is to always remove certain skills from Allies until later on where they become more survivable:
Cora: Charge
Jaal: Avenger Strike
Liam: Havoc Strike
Everyone else should be focused on their defensive abilities first. Since many allies (in classic default MEASP without mods) are bullet sponges and they're not very lasting sponges either if not spec'd towards it.
Drak obviously he does nothing but use krogan rage or whatever its called and after that just trys to get close to enemy and melee them and does not do ever anything else.
Of course you can hear when he does it and Vetra does the shield and Cora does the charge because they all have a line they say for their #1 skill when they do it.
I mean Drak can't die for a period of time that is probably worth something and Vetra can take many shots after rank 4 defense perk.
