Squadmates skills question
As formely in previous ME games it was not advisable to put certain skills on some squadmates...
Just got Drak I have noticed he always tries to melee have not seen him use incinerate once.
Vetra always using power armor and drawing fire which is great but have not seen her use concussive shot even once.
Cora always using charge and I did see her use Nova one entire time after using her for 3 hours in the entire Eos remnant vault. At first I thought charge would be bad as it puts her in heavy danger with no cover afterward but seems to be pretty good actually. (I think the reason it is good is because unlike other ME games enemies seem to almost always be aiming at YOU and not your squadmates LOL)

Just put frag grenade on Drak and turbocharge on Vetra is that even advisable? Given they don't use their other I guess non-main or default skill why would they use their 3rd skill?

Have a question about the Nova Skill does it hit airborne enemies?

Is it possible to respec squadmates? I know you can respec yourself ...
dont want to commit to putting skills on squadmates if they don't use them or worse they die faster after using them (as in previous ME games)

will look into this but appreciate any helpful answers thanks!

You can respec yourself and your allies using the respec station in the Medical Bay on the Tempest. It's on the left as you walk in.

Recommendation is to always remove certain skills from Allies until later on where they become more survivable:
Cora: Charge
Jaal: Avenger Strike
Liam: Havoc Strike
Everyone else should be focused on their defensive abilities first. Since many allies (in classic default MEASP without mods) are bullet sponges and they're not very lasting sponges either if not spec'd towards it.

Actually just saw Vetra use concussive shot for the first time (exploded a bug)... she has been a decent bullet sponge.
Drak obviously he does nothing but use krogan rage or whatever its called and after that just trys to get close to enemy and melee them and does not do ever anything else.
Of course you can hear when he does it and Vetra does the shield and Cora does the charge because they all have a line they say for their #1 skill when they do it.
I mean Drak can't die for a period of time that is probably worth something and Vetra can take many shots after rank 4 defense perk.

It's all relative. If you're on an easier difficulty, the defensive capabilities of each ally companion is not really essential. The moment you start contemplating Hardcore or Insanity difficulty (ESPECIALLY Insanity difficulty, and without game mods) you will be glad for all the defensive options on your allies (and why they are often built up first on Insanity) and why removing certain active skills from them is so essential early on.
