How does romance work?

can i romance someone by kissinga nd that count as a romance win for teh achivement or do i see need to see the hole path?`

can i relode and take anotehr romance path with someone else on teh same save and that count?

all this is for the achivement

There is a certain threshold that is reached to count as a "romance" for game purposes.

If I recall, having a zero-G fling with PeeBee is not a romance, for instance.

You can make multiple save threads, that would work. However... romance in this game takes some time, so you are looking at replaying a few hours of game to change romance partners this way.

If you want to do it, there is a point where a romance is "locked in". Usually you'll have a deep conversation. Save before talking to the people you've been flirting with, each time, and if it locks you in place, then reload and double that save as your "baseline". That will be where you want to restart your romance with another character.

i did everything correct, just missed one little thing that locked me out from one person

I have my male ryder romance Cora, then Keri (fling) and the one ffrom Kadara by finding her an angaran starmap and got the achievement in a single playthrough. I was surprised it popped up. So the game considers the 2 other flings romances.

palyed female one, tried with vetra, jaal, reporter, and suvi
jaal and reporter worked but suvi and vetra got scuffed

I had great hopes for Romance in this game after all the options in the Mass Effect series.
But am totally disappointed, Had such high hopes with Suvi flirting as soon as female Ryder entered the Tempest. That was one great line of flirting ... and that's all.

Unfortunately my flirting with Jaal happened around the same time as the date with the Charlatan. That somehow locked my character into the Charlatan as my romance partner. With no further dialogue with any of the possible candidates it's exceptionally disappointing. Unfortunately it's all too far back to replay.

if you did 2 romances, you can speed on the second game with suvi or vetra
