So, step by step;
Uninstall EA games
Uninstall EA client
Run a registry cleaning, restart the PC, and double check registry is clean without errors.
Download latest EA client installer and install it.
Download / install your EA games.
All directory and registry paths should be golden at that point and your games should start up properly. There maybe some exceptions where you need to set compatibility on a games exe to 'Run as administrator' if you're using a 'standard' account and not 'admin' account. Sometimes, even if you are on an admin account. But, those should be more of a rarity.
