Does Frosty Tools work with the EAP app yet?

I still access the game through Origin by changing the date of my computer, all for the sake of mods. I recall the EA App breaking it. is this still the case?

Frosty mod manager has been working for lots of ppl. But, I know one thing you have to do is change one of it's settings so it launches with the 'EA client' as opposed to the old default of the 'Origin client.' Ofc, that's assuming you are using the EA client now and not the old Origin client like I am.

What method are you using to still use Origin?

The key is, you need to find / download an older version of the Origin client--not the latest released version. It should be version 10.5.119.52718 and needs to be the full installer which is 228 mb... not the 24mb online installer. The next thing is, you do the initial install and alter the installation settings to disable that automatic startup and updates selections. You also should disconnect from the internet first. You'll end up having to connect online after you get the initial setup done. But, you should disconnect again after the initial login and client startup. Then go through the process of deleting those files and adding the code lines into the 'local.xml' file... which you'll end up needing to repeat a few times maybe. Then once you get it up and running, put the client into 'offline' mode and keep it that way.

It's been working fine for me with the DatapathFix plugin. You should be able to google it and find the github for it.
