Can't load save
I am getting a "Save data error" because game content that is "no longer installed: Deep Space Back and Deluxe Edition Pack"
I have not downloaded nor deleted any files for this game, so I am a little confused as to why I am getting these errors. Further, when I was playing last night the game would freeze every time I tried to use the scanner or a scope weapon.

EA's desktop app is crap. Maybe reinstalling the EA desktop app will help, but backup any saves for any installed EA games first since it's likely to delete them and have a cloud seizure.

Thanks, I am trying this now but the EA App doesn't want to open at all right now.

Go into Windows 'Control Panel--Programs--uninstall a program.' Look through the list of programs to find the EA client. Select it and chose the 'Repair' option. A lot of times that clears up the issue with EA client.

There was no EA client, but there was an EA app. No option to repair, so I am going to uninstall and then reinstall. I'll let you guys know if it works. Thank you for the help.

just tried that, didn't work. this is upsetting. The game's frustrating enough to start, so much before the first real mission, and NOW the game is saying the file I played last night is unloadable?

this is what worked for me:

I just encountered the same problem too, and none of the fixes I've found on here or elsewhere worked, however I've found my own solution for this.

What I did was
-Right Click ME:A
-Manage>Browse Local Files
-Right Click MassEffectAndromeda
-Run as administrator

This prompted the EA app to ask me to sign into my EA account, and once I did, it asked me to verify my email since it didn't recognize my PC. After I did that, the game launched and I was able to load my save file.

I think what the issue for me was that my IP had changed and EA did not know who I was. Launching the game through steam appears to skip the entire verification process. You may need to uninstall and then reinstall the EA app first since that's one of the solutions I tried before finding mine. You could also probably just try logging out of the EA app and log back in to see if you get the email verification prompt.
3 times in a row i tried playing game n now same issues w cant load game save due to missing delux n deep space dlcs...

so why is this happening?
i mean the game is far from a new release so isnt this fixed at all?

fyi if your recent save not load
I got the popup saying "save data error". Tried handful of older saves. Same. So tried Steam files integrity verify. Said no errors detected. So unchecked boxes in steam for space pack & deluxe pack like the error popup suggested to reinstall them. Error still. This was after putting in around 60 pain staking hrs n game. So uninstalled it from Steam then reinstalled it to start fresh. Nor have done around 100 hrs & got that error from resume attempt again. Since troubleshooting is best done in steps from less change to most, I started trying again older & older save files to load. I likely need to save less often as I had around 20 for this date. It does auto-save when major missions done or i think when you exit game, jic you forget to save progress. None of today's saves would load. WHEN I TRIED THE MOST RECENT SAVE OF PREVIOUS DATE IT LOADED !! ;-) I'm sure this will help some a lot. Glad to be surely helpful. You're welcome. ;-)

Glad to hear it Damnit
dam i just got that resume loading save file error a 3rd time after redoing all main missions & bunch of other missions. i got it loading resume after logging out of game & EA pc app, set both game run file & EA app run files to run as administrator. so as always with steam already running, started EA app since game needs that to start. got the win popup asking if want run as admin, said yes. Started game from it's folder shortcut & answered yes to same popup. Resume now loaded. ;-)
Did you upgrade to a 5000 series RTX card? They don't support Phsy-X anymore. You can't play these games if you did. They're error on on bullets, throwing something, something falling off a ledge, driving, loading objects with phys-x attached to them, etc....
