Loading screen freezes

I'm just over 100 hours into this game. I tried to start it this morning and it gets stuck at the loading screen after you choose which save to restart from. I rebooted the computer, tried loading a different saved game and I get bupkis. Anyone have any ideas besides reinstalling the freakin game and starting all over? The only change I made was installing ME: Legendary Edition after I played Andromeda yesterday. Other than that I'm clueless and PISSED!!!
Any help would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem deep in to the game.

I know that i loaded a previous save game and that worked. (I can't remember if it was a manual or auto save that worked, maybe try both)
You may need to try a few back saves.
Saves made on planets may be the best bet, rather than saves o the Tempest.

There is also a suggestion that changing to borderless window instead of full screen, may enable the game to load again.

Maybe also check the file integrity in Steam

The game finally loaded after sitting on the loading screen for about 10 minutes while I was out of the room and it's been fine since. I loaded a previous autosave instead of the manual save; maybe the manual save I tried was corrupted? I'll check the integrity of the game files too. Thanks for the advice.

I know this is an old posting, but there is an issue that they never fixed where if you save the game whilst inside the Nomad land vehicle the loading of that save is really long.

It could be because the Origin server is busy. I've had it take as much 10 minutes of constant pinging before Origin responds. Once it connects the game loads pretty quickly. If the connection to the server breaks during game play or when I try to start the game it usually seizes up on me and I have to start over.

Strange, I am on my 4th play-through and I find the game very stable. I have noticed a few minor graphic bugs in the love scenes at the end but they were not game killers.
