PS4 controller

I'm trying to play the game with my PS4 controller, but I can't find a way to get it to go through. I tryed Right click your game go to properties and then controller. Click the drop down menu and disable steam input., but I still get a keyboard and mouse layout. Is there a way to get my controller to work.

the game does not support DS4.

so you need steam input (or other 3rd party tools) to emulate a xbox pad.. and you'll only get xbox icons ingame.

which x box controller will work, a x box or an x box 1 controller?

I have xbox 360 wired pads and got myself a xbox one wireless controller (model 1708 - with bluetooth) 1-2 years ago. works just out of the box with mayoriy of games supporting gamepad.
I only use official microsoft ones so can't say anything about 3rd party brands. another option would be a logitech F310 / F710 pad if you prefer the ds4 layout for the sticks and they have a switch to change between dinput and xinput mode.

Use DS4Windows.

It emulates your DS4 as an Xbox gamepad.

does it show in control panel / gamecontroller ?
how is it connected to pc?

steam input should be disabled as there is no need for it with original microsoft pad

doing a force off I managed to get this game and dragon age inqustion to work with my xbox 1 controller
