Origin problem

I bought this game a few days ago. I have been playing an hour here and there after work and I have about 10 hours played. I just tried to play it, the Origin thing pops up like every other time, except now it says Activation required and that the game is Unidentified.

Anyone know what is going on? My other EA games I bought from steam are in the Origin thing, but now ME: Andromeda is gone.

Ich hatte ein ähnliches Problem. Ich habe schon 47 Std. gespielt und wollte heute weiterspielen und das Spiel war nicht mehr installiert. Ich sollte es praktisch neu downloaden. Der Download ging dann gegenüber dem erstmaligen download ganz schnell. Auch die Installation. Spielstände sind immer noch vorhanden und Spiel an letztmals gespielter Kartenposition wieder ein. Alles gut. Aber was soll das?

I had a similar problem. I have already played 47 hours and wanted to continue playing today and the game was no longer installed. I should practically re-download it. The download then went very quickly compared to the first download. Installation too. Scores are still available and the game is restarted at the card position last played. All good. But what's that supposed to mean? What has happend that the game was gone?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure why it happened. I live in an area with very slow internet. If they ask me to re-install it would probably take a full 48 hours

The 'unidentified game' errors and such appear to be an effect of the Origin CLIENT not being able to get a good communication with the Origin SERVER and/or the whole Steam end of things. Once the Origin client can properly talk with the Origin Servers, Steam Servers (for account information, specifically for 'does account own this?') and the Steam client, then it will probably function. ...so long as you don't stare right at it.

That would be great if thats the case. I was trying to play the game when my internet is generally at it's slowest. I can only clock in at .1Mbps at those times. Its disgusting to have such limited service. But, life goes on right?

My own connection is a little lackluster. Not using the 'Mobile Hotspot' feature, but the cellphone's Device Data, through a USB tether. If that sounds a little sketchy, you don't know the half of it. Combine this with whatever's happening on the Origin server side of things, and ...yeah, no game for you, Bucko.
