Have a look at the most endorsed mods on nexus and take your pick https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/trendingalltime/

The only ones that I would say are essential are MEA Fixpack and Cursor fix. The rest is personal preference really. And sometimes you have to choose between different but equally good mods because of conflicts. For instance, Road Rage and Fast Mining conflict with each other and are both great. You have to choose which one you would prefer.
