My PC turn off : crash

hi

on origin, my game was crahing my pc (turn off completely !) not always but often.
i saw some players with same graphic card having same problem (gtx 890 ti) on i5 6600k)

is on steam will be more stable ?

because mys 3 years old pc is never crashin on other games (rdr2, fallout, etc...) only on this game.
or if someone have solution ?

Maybe PSU problems ? For me this game working good, but my PC heating as hell while playing this game. But I use some overclocking for CPU and RAM, and no PC crashing.

Same here... but Kingdome Come Deliverance runs just fine.. i mean KCD looks way better and needs more Resources then this old game...

im guessing on my end it is more my Ram problem. Got two different company rams installed with different speeds

My pc run well and NEVER crash (pc turn off) only on this game . a,d i run well the very last game.

don't listen to what they tell you. it happens to me like a year ago. The screen blocks me and I have to turn off the PC. I love the game but I have never been able to finish it because it gives me a display controller error and the support never solved it .... i7 7700k gtx 1080. I was left wanting to finish it.

It happens to a lot of people, not just me, so don't say it's just because of this person's PC, I got into the origin forum and it happens to almost everyone, only you want to be smart.

well I invite you to google the mass effect andromeda screen error or black screen .... I speak to you this way because it makes me angry that you say that it is this boy's PC and that it is not the game .. because it is a game that I love but the error is from the drivers or something and they don't want to fix it ... I have 1.5 terabites in games installed on the pc and 269 games in steam and it only happens in this ... but ok let's continue in the loop

i have more than 400games and even if you saw the same crash probleme on other of my games : all are working now ALL. THIS ONE is the only one wich is not working.
So pls dont try to chek my past lol.
this is not a solution. and i already test all taht solutions since the released of the game, i had time !!!

i was hoping for someone to fix it, maybe with a patch or something but it seems that we are a lot to not be able to play the game. ok, i will wait my new pc.

create text and write: Thread.ProcessorCount 4
Thread.MinFreeProcessorCount -2.
Name user.cfg and paste it at the root of the game. in the game's .exe in properties it disables the option optimization of display and rescaling ppp. when entering the game before it starts press alt + enter and then in game options put it on maximized screen ...
I tried everything a long time ago, this is the solution that I saw more people working for you. luck!
