Mouse cursor in the center of the screen

I know this problem exist in the origin version where the mouse cursor doesn't go away and is stuck in the middle of the screen. Does the steam version also have this problem? or is it fixed?

Can confirm it's also present in the Steam version.
Does seem though if you play in borderless window mode, tab out of the game then tab back in there's a 50/50 chance the cursor will disappear.

I have not encountered this using an xbox1 controller. Not saying that is the reason as there might be other variables.

I've used the Cursor Fix mod that Bufu linked, it works.

dont mean to necro this, but I installed that mod to my MEA folder and still having the issue... ugh.
