Why Star Wars Jedi Survivor was developed with Unreal Engine?
This game still looks amazing in 2024, no stuttering, 100+ fps, 1440p and all ultra setttings on my 3070 laptop at 1440p.
So Why did the use the Unreal Engine for Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Fallen?

Short answer, the devs knew better than to waste time fighting with frostbyte.

UE4 is quick easy requires little to no EXTRA training and allows them to easily outsource work to underpaid workers elsewhere

Watch "threat interactive", he will explain why modern dev choose nanite slop over well, doing their job working as an actual dev.
It seems like EA likes to save it for their heavy hitting devs like DICE and bioware. Which kinda sucks because while frostbite is a little annoying to mod (thanks frosty) visually its insane and most of the titles are optimized. I don't expect to see another Star Wars title using it unless DICE or Bioware gets a shot.

Because UE 4 is ez to use, but the engine is so bad like ue5. Devs cant optimize this bad engine. So u need super good pc +dlcc and other s hit to run games with good graphics and 60+fps. +Respawn dont have exp with frost bite that why they used bad unreal engine
