I'm not the best player in the world and I really do not care to be, but to say its 'easy' is so beyond subjective its not even funny anymore. I am grinding the base classes and ya ain't gonna tell me that a mere non upgraded Assault is going to destroy Vader. I'm gonna have to call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right away.
but now a days you win or lose based on how smart your heroes are and if they are competent the last time i played the main mode we where on the death star and got spawn camped the entire game by yoda and luke at the final phase of the match luke and yoda are litterally have a sword fight together while bb-8 and rey are doing both of the objectives
No you're right. If I am facing a Jedi one versus one with no ways of grouping up or if I am the sole member standing, you are 100% right. He won't just use an ability on me, won't just jump attack me and won't one shot me. How stupid was I to think I had no chance of winning.
The base classes are garbage and aren't supposed to be played for any other reason than as cannon fodder.
You get enough points then you go to tier two where you get at least twice the health, which is paramount.
That will give you a fighting chance and then you have to choose - or if you get the chance - to get a hero with 600+ health.
No other game I have ever played has made the base characters so worthless and unplayable and given tier 2 and 3 so much of an advantage over so many other players.
You can unload a full gun into a tier 2 as a tier 1 and you will still lose, they have more health and it is a fundamental and appalling mechanic failure.
Most of this game's mechanics shouldn't even have made it out of R&D and as a game it is a joke, it is nothing more than a spectacle and an enabler for people who think 200 kills using a hero is '5k1llz'.
Yeah, its bad balancing through and through. Honestly I am starting to remember why I dropped it.
Nothing you can do can alter the fact that you face opponents who pwn you not out of skill or ability but because they have one hit kill weapons and more health than you do.
You can't practice that out or learn it better you have to decide whether you want to join them to beat them.
I normally don't bother with online FPS because they just simply never work and are never balanced to be fun, this is without doubt the worst I have seen in the past 20 years.
I bought it for the campaign, gave the multiplayer a chance and between the insane imbalance and I am pretty sure hackers totally regret it.
IMO you'd be better off with a game like Doom or Halo for the multiplayer.
They are garbage since then as they are designed for console hur-de-hur.
We waited 6 years for BF3 and we got Metro and since then all it is is either large maps with tiny playing areas or tiny maps with tiny playing areas.
Being the COD model, which is also out for me and the same here, outposts are measured in less than 200m from each other.
I gave Planetside 2 3 years between 2012 and 2015 and in 2021 it still is nowhere.
This is the first online game I have put time into for 5 years and it was a bad choice, what I realised today - playing the campaign - is that it is single player mechanics shoe horned into a multiplayer game.
They don't work because you are supposed be to overpowered in a single player game, you are supposed to be balanced multi and the that has never existed since Soldier of Fortune 2 in 2002.
