EA killed every franchise i ever liked from them. of course your account got hacked. they don't really care about that either. look at their games. people have been hacking for like 2 years before they put out an anti cheat.

I asked them to restore my account first but they asked me stupid info from 10 years ago and then I asked them to delete my account because it got hacked and they still asked for stupid info from 10 years ago. I kept trying and trying and eventually I got this person from their customer support team who said they will delete my account without asking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ info from so long ago, they expect me to remember that ♥♥♥♥ when I was 12 years old, bruh.

Now I just need to wait for them to actually delete it. What's so crazy is that 2FA was enabled on my account and then the hacker hacked my password and logged in. They turned off 2FA just like that which is crazy. You can turn off 2FA without first getting a code or something like that via mail or message which is very weak security from EA. I have never had such a bad experience with a company before.

Remembering your info is your responsibility.

You made your account when you were 12, which is likely too young to even make a valid account (most companies prefer you to be upwards of 16 or older or to ask for a parent/guardian to make the account for you), and never once bothered to make sure you could get back into it?

EA is hardly a great company, they burned and salted the remains of this game because they couldn't exploit it anymore, but this is a simple case of your own irresponsibility catching up to you and you cannot blame that on anyone else.

Well, I mean you CAN, but only the extremely biased are going to feed into your delusions.
My dad made the account for me...

How would you feel if someone contacted EA and explained they couldn't remember the original setup information, and they then let whoever contacted them make changes to your account. You'd probably post a similar comment.

Getting hacked is rough, but being able to just call EA and expect them to believe you when you can't provide the information they request...you wouldn't even need to hack people's accounts then if that were the case.

You have to take some responsibility. You're getting angry with a company that wants to validate the person contacting them so unauthorised access doesn't happen.

If 2FA has also been compromised then you need to change everything: email, phone number, passwords etc. Only way 2FA can be turned off is by accessing 2FA. Or approaching EA with the information they need to turn it off. Change every password. Change every PIN. Change every security question. Own your data.

Either way, the hacker appears to know more about your information than you do. That's the issue.

Yes you are correct, I think what happened is he hacked me email too because that's the only way he could've logged onto my account since he is on a different device, I deleted that email so hopefully my new one is safe, I made a strong password and wrote everything down, I also made a new EA account and wrote everything down. I see what you mean here, EA's top priority is to protect their customer. I was just mad in the moment, it is what it is.
