Regardless of the hardware, you should select DX 11 in the settings,
DX12 does not work well at all.
In the Game: Options/Video: Activate DirectX 12: Off
Launch the game at the lowest setting possible, desactivate everything, and see if your Deck still crashes.
A side note, this only works in order to play Multiplayer, trying to play offline with bots still for whatever reason hard crashes the Deck,. The game, after Origin was able to update runs much better, I am now maintaining a near solid 60fps throughout on a mix of medium to high settings at 800p.
Yeah the game, from what i gather, either way, wont run on the Deck in singleplayer, either against bots or in campaign. The game thus far on Deck only works in Multiplayer, but you have to update Origin to play, otherwise the out of date build crashes the game whatever you try. Also every time Origin gets updated it breaks the game again, meaning you have to run proton 6.3-8 to re update Origin every time a new patch drops in order to keep playing, because Origin is fantastic like that.
