Cant see friends online, unable to send invites or join

Title. Have tried various different methods from client side to game side and no matter what we do, we cant invite or join on each other to play. Yes, we've un friended and re-friended, checked privacy settings, even re-downloaded the entire client/game and reset caches, etc. We have spent the better end of about 18 hours trying to play even ONE match together(which is VERY weird because we can play online separately no problem). This is seriously ridiculous considering we REALLY want to try this game. It doesn't even make any sense because several other games that we play don't share this issue, only through this client. The last method we tried was joining through a mutual and then re adding each other and the client/game doesn't even show that we're in-game (after re-adding each other) WHILE IN THE SAME MATCH. This is my final longshot at trying to solve this issue before requesting a refund, no game should be this difficult to enjoy playing with others.

We have the same issue with my friend, I can see her online but she can't see me and when I send her an invite nothing happens. We also tried re-adding ourselves but that didn't help. When the EA app was still called Origin we had no issues but now this.

Same thing here. I can normally get it to work if I reinstall the entire game.

I know it’s a little late but launching the game from the EA app works every time for me rather than launching it from the desktop.

can confirm its work if u launch the game from the EA APP, but if you launch it from the desktop or STEAM OR EPIC it does not work.

Hardly anyone here knows about this game. You guys even have a friend to play this game with. What I need to solve right now is how to match with real human players, instead of repeating the same operations on Hoth in the single-player mode day after day. I'm not bored with it, but still, I force myself to play it every day.
