PSA: The game is playable and very much alive in 2022

The recent sale is too good to pass up so I noticed there's been an influx of new players and with that I've seen theres a lot of people (a lot of people who DONT own the game) claiming that our community is dead. Let me tell you that's not the case.

Nowadays People believe that if a game doesn't have at least 20,000 people playing on Steam everyday the game is dead and has no foreseeable future. But you only need 29 other people to have an enjoyable match in this game, hell you even need less if you play the other modes such as Heroes-only (6 players) or co-op missions (3 players).

Also let's not forget about crossplay. Before anyone bashes on me for this one let me be clear: no, there is no crossplay across platforms - But there is crossplay on your same platform! Meaning that we play with the filthy plebs from Epic Game Store and the grandpas from Origin. Same way PS4 people play with the PS5 folks. And believe me when I say this: don't underestimate those numbers cause there's a good chunk of people still playing though Origin, many of my friends are still playing through their launcher. And about EGS launcher I'm not certain of their numbers but they gave the game for free about a year ago so there's that.

The next point I want to talk about is the future of the game. Although the active development of new content was cut (for unknown reasons) in 2020 the DICE devs are still fixing bugs, banning the hackers, and pushing compatibility patches every now and then. They are not quite often but they still doing them. One last thing about the content that needs a shoutout is the modding scene: there's a bunch of mods to choose from simple HUD recolors and updated UI to fully fledged character models with their very own VFX and voicelines. Always remember that where devs fall the community stands up.

♥♥♥♥ worth price for sp story , i for one loved story i loved the level desgins saw post person crying about story well most gamers not obsess to point that there scholars on starwars (how pathedic of life person must have to be like that ) as guy wrote in the other post but most just want fun action game in the starwars universe this why i love the story and the game and why so many play it just for mp also for the fun be in this universe. some people ocd take it to far i say cry and cry get of your azz go write a book or make your own game we dont care

Well as a matter of fact the campaign story is both loved and disliked at the same time. In my opinion it was good enough and better than most campaigns we receive nowadays lol but I can agree with others that it was a bit predictable.

You forgot to mention Kyber private servers, that was a life saver for when the HP bug from hackers was infecting the online and making it unplayable and allowing full control over gamemodes as well as being able to play online with mods, there also seems to be a launching issue these days, I've tried every single fix, booting in clean mode, but I can't launch the game at all in the past few days, and others are having that same issue as of late, it's definitely not playable for some, also doesn't matter what platform you purchase on you still need EA play/Origin regardless which sucks if you bought it on Steam thinking you could avoid those launchers, I have a copy on all 3 platforms and all 3 are needed to boot up if using mods and enabled globally via Frosyfix, lol

Since you clearly did not read the thread i'll sum it up for you while also replying to your comment: you are (were) an Origin player. You do know there are more people than the 2700 users from Steam. Gotta bait harder next time jester.

well considering the game was MORE Then dead 2 years ago on Origin you can take that pathetic copium BS argument and try again son.

It needs a server browser. That alone would save the game. The pain of trying to find an active match is too much to bear.

Got the game and was unable to connect to any server to play online. All my time listed was spent waiting.

The game was published on Steam 2 years ago and it was given for free 1 year ago on Epic. I'm sorry to have to tell you this but you hop off right when the game was given a boost of new players.
