Frosty Mod Manager not working, any fix?

Has anyone had the problem recently where once you try to open Battlefront 2 with mods, it will instead open with EA app or Origin, which just doesn't register the mods at all. Then when I try to uninstall both, it just says I can't play without one of them installed.

I had the issue where the game, frosty, and the EA Launcher did not work for me.

Uninstalled and reinstalled 7 times (not joking), didn't fix it

I had finally found a fix to this problem. First of all, if you haven't already, delete the moddata folder in SteamLibrary, steam apps, common, and star wars battlefront II, then if you launch the game with Frosty, it should give you an error and ask to reinstall "moddata" folder. Or if that didn't work click on tools, options, launch options and select EA desktop (if you use EA app and not Origin).

neither of those solutions worked, i never had this stupid problem when i wasnt using steam

Look for Frostyfix on Github. Run it and go to settings to set the gamefolder to the Battlefront II folder in Steamapps, then try the "EA" or "General" option and click "Launch with Mods Enabled". One of those should work.

when you put a mod in and click launch it will start flashing at you then you click what ever game it is in EA the second time it reopens Ea thats when you do it

(: oh and make sure you go into the folder of you game and delete mod data and go to app data and delete the frosty folder
