Single player any good?

I'm not interested in multiplayer but how is the single player feature of this game?

The Single player story is a mixed bag for me, but I would say that it is quite good. I think they were able to craft a story that takes you to quite a number of really nice locations, and utilizes most aspects of the games combat throughout. I don't really enjoy how operation Cinder ties into the films, but that's going to be received differently by different types of fans.

It's most definitely worth picking up on sale, there are a good chunk of missions, as well as legacy characters with their own little story based missions which are also nice.

Cheers for the responses. A 4-5 hour campaign for single player is kinda short, even on sale, unless there is massive replayability. As mentioned I have zero interest in multiplayer. I also use mouse and keyboard only so I hope that would translate ok regarding combat. The only Star Wars game I own is Republic Commando from 2005 and I never even completed that. Maybe I should play through the first Battlefront game first?

Um yes it is. I just started playing it, and its mind blowing. It also has some offline vs the ai modes. Great amazing game.

I have not yet played the full campaign so can't speak on that. (Also have the game on the Epic Launcher, not steam)
But the game also has offline game modes where i find the most fun. If it's really 4-5hrs long that's kinda short, but there's more to do than just the campaign and online modes.

The single player story is actually canon, you can find references to it in other pieces of star wars

I liked the single player. I think people are being obtuse about it.

There's only one issue with the campaign, that is really a non-issue. You start off as a soldier in the empire. However without spoilers this quickly becomes a non-issue as you would see very soon, while playing.

It genuine feels like a star Wars entry to me.

It's the Celebration Edition, so the brief expansion is included. Kind of win-win.

If you mean the campaign, no, it sucks. But other than that, you can play vs AI matches just like the classic Battlefronts.
