Well it sucks. It means EA doesn't care about the game being fun to play as long as it's beautiful.
To be honest this isn't really the sort of game you want to be playing in First Person, it's too hectic. I think the fact that the basic troopers can go into first person is good enough.
This just happens to be a game that's meant to be played in 3rd person, as it strongly relies on movement and evasion.
Skyrim.
But I get it. It's a toy, not a game. Closer to owning Star Wars minifigures to play doll with than engaging in really challenging situations.
I admit it would have been really cool to duel with lightsabers in first person, but honestly the combat can become too fast paced to be practical.
