Do people still play?
Since it's one sale I was kinda thinking of buying it, but I'm not sure if it's still populated. I don't wanna wait 15 minutes just to get into a game. I'm in the EU, not sure if servers are specific to geographic location but I figured I'd mention it.

Why would you buy a game that is simply abandoned ? EA pulled the plug on this game and removed the dev team, no one is taking care of the outstanding bugs and crashes, and no one ever will.

Servers exploded after it went free on Epic Games a couple of months ago, usually takes less than a minute to find a game

You don't have to go full nolife on every game you buy. If it's cheap and still somewhat populated, why not play it for a couple of hours?

I'm on EU servers and I always find a a full server, or lobby that fills quickly on any game mode.

Yeah same here, I noticed it was on sale and didn't even think twice about the possibility of not finding a match. Kind of upsetting that it's dying out...

COOP is active but you may find yourself waiting for 5+ minutes if you don't want to play Republic.

Not that populated anymore. Quite enjoyable for a shot time, but gets boring rather fast due to AI issues and other things. Good for leveling classes for MP though.

Are people still misunderstand the announcement EA and DICE did about that? They never said the game was being abandoned. The game still supported. What the announcement back then was about the end of new content. They were releasing new maps, characters etc for years.. at some point they were going to stop.. so they announced that no more content was going to be developed for the game. Then some dumb people, for some reason, took that as the game being abandoned. No. They even released several patches after that.
