Remember that you can block blaster bolts, they can’t block a lightsaber. Lightsaber heroes have a distinct defensive advantage.
Without teamwork, the chances of a blaster hero beating a turtling lightsaber hero are slim
Use your dodge to weave in and out of the line of fire. Deflect bolts when it’s advantageous. Use your force abilities to knock them down or draw them closer.
They can only dodge a maximum of 3 times in a row, if you swing your lightsaber wildly you’ll probably run out of stamina by the time they run out of dodges. Swing once, let them dodge it, do it again until their dodges are spent; after that you can go ham. But be cautious, some blaster heroes have explosives that can eat through your block or knock you down
I know it’s tricky, but the grass isn’t greener on the other side. As a blaster hero you’ll find that dealing with lightsaber heroes is just as frustrating
HvV is just something that takes getting used to in order to understand how characters should be played
HvV is undoubtedly one of the more 'competitive' modes in Battlefront. Keep practicing, watch what the good players do, and always stay with your teammates.
