all things unlocked from the start

when i started the game for the first time on pc i got everything unlocked. what is going on?

Celebration edition unlocking all content in game, and if I remember its only one option available for purchase, so when you byuing BFII, you bying CE automatically

Yeah Steam version is Celebration Edition which basically almost give you all cosmetic. You will have to level up Classes/Heroes for Star Cards. Also need to unlock weapons/weapon mods.

Yea I dont get that. I'd rather work my way up, as the joy is unlocking new stuff.

um, trust me you dont. All these skins wouldve taken you up to a thousand hours almost to unlock, its a giant grind. But you still need to level up your characters and level up your cards.

The base game is still available on PS4 for $4.
It was also free few months back with PS4 Plus.

Best way to go if you still want to work to unlock stuff. I think it's still worth it even if you didn't get it free.

weapons and gameplay-related progression isn't unlocked but cosmetics and anything that used to go through lootboxes is unlocked from the start
