Why is nobody playing on seuqel maps?
I'm quite new to the game and was wondering why almost nobody is playing conquest on the seqeuel maps. Is the game dead or does everyone just hate playing on those maps?

sequels are considered as lowest point from the history of whole SW, no wonder nobody wants to play in these settings. FO jet trooper is fun to play though.

The quality of the movies isn't really gonna affect what maps people play, that's just a dumb assumption. The real reason is that CS Takodana/Jakku/Ajan Kloss aren't well designed CS maps. No surprise that people would play the PT era over them.

He's not that far off. Many of the players are prequels fans.

But a couple real reasons why people don't play is (1) First Order will almost always win Jakku (regardless of game mode) and (2) The two soccer balls are OP. Especially that orange one.

Well, that's a shame because I wish I could play Finn or Phasma for once in conquest. Playing them in hero vs villains is boring. I haven't seen the last Jedi or the rise of Skywalker but from what I have heard they are trash. I have seen TFA tho, and aside from all the plot holes I kinda enjoyed. But you are right the quality off the movie has most likely nothing to do with the players not wanting to play on those maps.

The most players are big prequel fans, and mostly play to shout "FOR THE REPUBLIC" in the middle of the night while the're abushing a squad of droids. Most of the prequel en ot fans really dislike the movies, thus they dont have any sentimental connection to the maps.

It's not about sentimental connection. Its that the sequels take the series in a new direction (but with poor follow-through).

To make things simple: George Lucas introduced a lot of lore with little explanation of how the universe was supposed to work--leaving the spectacle to the audience because the story was more important than the logic. Lucas was subtle in what he did which made many of the unreal things seem logical. The sequels, however, do not follow this same pattern of subtlety. Instead they provide unnecessary details that ruin the spectacle.

Some specific examples:

(1) In VII, we are explicitly told how much fuel is left in the Resistance's ship in terms of time, but the amount of of things Rey and Finn do in that time period make little sense.

(2) In VIII, we are also told when Palpatine will attack (16 hours I think). The amount of distance traveled by Rey in those 16 hours makes NO sense compared to all other movies, shows, and books. They essentially traveled the fully diameter of the galaxy 3 times in the course of those 16 hours. But if we look at the Clone Wars or even V, we know that it takes days and sometimes months to travel through hyperspace.

(3) VIII completely throws away the meaning behind the musical themes. "The Force theme playing when Palpatine dies and when all his ships are blowing up?? He has his own theme you know!"

Don't get me wrong: I think the Sequels had something going for them, but the cash grab rampage Disney has gone on the past 5 years (including all their live action remakes) has been rambunctious and irresponsible.

"This new era was based on one dogmatic vision that was so fundamentally wrong. You had idiotic strategists who have probabley never created anything in their life and did not understand this entity whatsoever, TELLING you (Disney) that the perception is, "Everybody hates the prequels! so u gotta alienate youself from the prequels and do what everybody loves which is the original trilogy". NO IDIOT! YOU hate the prequels! But the millions of people that grew up with them love them."

The last two movies sucked. But in a whole with the books that are out there telling the stories and such of the in between stuff is what I like. Can't beat what "Star Wars" grow into.

Rey is poorly written Marry Sue even Korra from legend of Korra has more character and is more likable. Rey obtains god like healing powers from nothing literally resurrecting the dead. People like her even if they never knew or met her before.

Fin was useless character used as POV for audience before being pushed to side as random trash comedy character and even hidden in the Chinese version of the poster because China no like black people.

Movie's reduced the quality of the prequels, originals, clone war 2003 and clone wars 2008.

Sequel trilogy is just prequels but worse in terms of quality and less fun.

He isn't wrong though..... If you don't see the feminist agenda being pushed in Kathleen Kennedy Starwars you are blind as a door bat.
yeah you're right, also i hate the feminist agenda in tomb raider, also the original star wars where leia was fighting. I really think they should just have made every character in the sequels a man! Also a white man! the right way! Really sick of these snowflake liberal movies infecting hollywood, am i right my fellow man!

Because thats why the sequels suck! Not the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ plotholes, nonsensical logic, but the dumb sjw agenda! GOD i wish trump could ♥♥♥♥ my wife

Bruh... (men)inists just as bad as feminists. The feminist agenda was apparent in only one of the sequels for a few minutes and yes that screen time for sure could've been used for something actually relevant to the star wars universe, but definitely was not the reason why the whole sequel trilogy sucked. When everyone realized TFA was just a copy of A New Hope or saw the way Luke died nobody was like "THOSE DAMN FEMINISTS!" its just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ writing and no clear direction thats it!

But seriously tho (I even remember reading an article on this way back when VII came out), the whole "gender equality" thing does not make sense in the Star Wars universe and to the Western viewers of the film. The Western audience has militaries who's armed combatants are primarily males (while there are females, they don't usually fill the combat roles). So, having a balance of men and women fighting is hard to believe.

"If both men and women are fighting, then who will take care of the home and manufacture goods for the war effort?"
