Voice Chat Issues

so I picked this game up last week and I've played a few games with my buddy. at first, the voice chat worked and we could both hear each other, the problem was that the voice chat volume was way too low, I could barely hear him as his voice was drowned out by the game. now today I could hear him but he couldn't hear me. this is odd since my mic was being picked up before but has now stopped for some reason. I checked and my on/off mic button on my computer is set to on and so is the button on my headset. does anyone know how to fix either of these issues? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having the same issue. Voice works in Discord, Steam, etc. but not in Battlefront. Can hear teammates but they can't hear me.

Yeah, I played some matches last tuesday and for some reason the voice chat decided to work and we could both hear each other. I solved the issue with the chat volume being too low, voice chat is through origin and not BF2 so all I had to do was lower the master volume, then turn up the volume on my PC itself, boom now the voice chat is not drowned out by the game. hopefully this helps others.
