Where can I find the product code?
When it opens up origin and origin requests the code, I'm unable to find it in any capacity. It is not present in the receipt or anywhere on the dlc page marked "key". Anybody else experiencing this or otherwise have a solution? Thanks

Yup. Same here. I'm stuck at the "product code for unidentified game" prompt from Origin. I got an e-mail receipt from Steam, but there's nothing about a code on that. I also can't find anything relevant in the game's directory on my PC. Although - probably unrelated to this code problem - I did notice that there may be some confusion within Steam about the original 2005 SW: Battlefront 2 and this SW: Battlefront 2.

Ah-ha. So another thread here said to just restart the game. I did this and - drumroll - it started fine. It took its sweet time getting passed the loading screen (hopefully not a sign of things to come), but I was able to get in and get configured fine.

Note to Valve: a warning in the receipt about this might be helpful.

So I found the solution to my issue. I needed to be logged out of origin so that when requested my accounts could be linked. Then it started without issue.

Hey so how long did it take everyone, ive been restarting the game itself, origin and steam each of them for more than a few hours and it still keeps asking me for the product key

my brother downloaded and has this issue, were so frustrated. tried restarting game/pc, tried logging out of origin like guy above said, putting origin in beta mode. nothing works, still asking for product code for installing an "Unidentified game".

For me it started to work by itself(??) Maybe you just have to give a little time to EA process the activation by itself...I did nothing else than restarted steam and origin a couple of times... I have this game only on steam (no epic or origin before)

At first I couldn't do anything with the settings button in origin (for BF2) but once the buttons became active it started to work...

So I was having this same issue, but I think I may have found a fix. If you click browse local files on steam, go into the folder named “Core,” there is an origin application called ActivationUI.exe. Nothing really happened, but after running it, I was able to open the game opened just fine.

Im having the issue of it wants me to sign into my EA account. when i do it says my computer is offline, although im connected. then when i go to create account or forgot password. it doesnt the same thing. if it does let me in, then it asks for a product key as if i bought it from a store. whers the product key?
