ya the discussions are clearly being astroturfed. EA just throwing the money around in hopes they can get some purchases on Steam lol

You can see statics about the game at the moment 1530 players playing battlefront 2 only in steam, also a lot of people using origin no one cares co op find friend and play with him thats more good way to co op games

Well it's not exactly huge but still a solid number. I'd say that with Steam's numbers the whole population is around 4.000 to 5.000 players. Matchmaking will now be easier than ever to make games.

Nah I'm calling ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on you. I've queued into supremacy and whatever the flight mode is and haven't had to wait longer than 30 seconds per match.

I think people are mainly playing with bots on PC. On console there maybe a decent sized multiplayer player base.

Play the advertised modes, it usually goes faster to find a game

This.
1. Change your ping server region to either East U.S. or a some place Europe.
2. Large game modes are generally most populated regardless of the time of day.
3. With a big enough population boost thanks to Steam release and Corona virus, getting a match in a less popular mode such as Star-fighter? mode is quite easy.

It's 6:00 AM EST and there's 2,000 people online on Steam alone. That doesn't include the middle of the day when most people are online. That also doesn't include the Origin players which there is no doubt is even larger.

I have no issue finding a match in almost all game modes at any time.

If you are playing outside of EU or U.S., you are gonna have a bad time.

Pretty much this if your in Australia you either need to plau during peak times either 6pm onwards or try and get in a US server. It appears to be hit or miss if you have issues with lag. I've been lucky and had no issues.

I've never had a problem queuing for coop.
