Playerbase?

I want to get the game but I was wondering how populated this game is for NA players. Is it easy to find full matches? Is there still a healthy amount of people playing the game, not just the vets.

This game is at the best moment to play, the player base is huge and have an amazing community. There's space for everybody, veterans and new players. DICE make an amazing job the last 2 years and the game is really good.

Don't lie. One quick search of Reddit and the forums will show you how dead this game is. Literally every gamemode other than conquest is dead.

I'm from Europe, takes me seconds to find a match. Sometimes youll be thrown in an empty fresh lobby which gets filled in a matter of seconds, maximum 1 minute. Right now theres about 1500 people playing it from Steam, count in the Origin players and you get a very likeable player base count. Not sure whats with all the agendas going against this game. Its a very fun and nice game.

I mean... even if that was true, it just means the other game modes are dead, and? Conquest is the primary game mode in the game which everyone plays, other game modes are just extras to play around with and get boring quickly.

The US Oregon and US Virginia are healthy though bear in mind that only 2 modes are really healthy.

Nope. Maybe in your region, who knows. But atleast in Europe, you can immediately jump into any mode. (with the exception of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring Starfighter ones)

Just going to piggyback off this thread instead of making a new one. I'm from Singapore, and am looking into purchasing the game. Do we share the same oceanic servers as the Australians? I ask because several posts here have claimed that the oceanic servers are dead.

Ive been playing on origin since launch. Populated games 90% of the time, naturally people quit matches sometimes if they are getting rolled. Hoping the steam launch will inject more longevity into the base. Empire is spot on above, some game modes are less populated. Heroes star ships can be tricky but the "main" modes, galactic assault and HVV, are solid.

Alot of people who bought this game on Origin are desperate for people to join the playerbase and will say anything to try and make this game popular again.

Only thing is, that same playerbase has already unlocked all the abilities giving them a major edge in multiplayer.

This game is not friendly to new players (saying this as an old player on the PS4).

The community is better than most, but naturally you have to start at the bottom. Having said that, you can level pretty fast and the upgrades aren't overpowered. There's always sp for players who don't play mp...like alfred.

It's 99% filled with vets at the moment and probably for the rest of the time it's playable, but if you don't mind losing a lot while you get better go for it. I'd recommend doing the campaign before multiplayer to get a good feel of the game though.
