NO. The Final Horizon "dlc" was the worst thing ever created of this game, as it resulted being just frustration and unenjoyable pain incarnate. A complete mess up like that does not even deserve being accepted as an "update" for a game like Frontiers, thing for which sega and sonic team have to be ashamed forever.
Plus, it was added as part of a free update, so you may as well give it a shot anyway. The biggest complaint I personally had with it is that IMO the regular ending is better than the Final Horizon ending.
Know what is peak sonic for me? Washed out open worlds with almost zero vibrance.
Just like how the Sonic brand is known for. You know how sonic is always battling it out in faded backgrounds and foregrounds. I can't even imagine a sonic game with vibrant colors. I am so glade they left em out.
For real though why is that the only places green is not depressing shade 003 is in the rehashed asset flips of cyberspace.
I still love this game though. Then again I enjoy forces...so....yeah. Not alot of good choices here by me. DO better me.
very...convincing argument, i love shortminded opinion made by people who can say black is black and white is white without even understand what colours are...
if you know what i mean.
In regards to the actual DLC, it's generally all harmless additions and most of it is free so there's not really any reason not to grab it unless you don't want it, but none of the DLC is crucial to the game or anything.
As for the free update content, that's all pretty solid to be honest. The release version of Another Story was notoriously difficult but later patches to the game made it more accessible on Normal and Easy modes. The only real nitpick I've ever had with it in regards to actual content is that the open zone boss fights eventually become pathetically easy for Amy, Knuckles, and Tails and yet at the same time fully upgraded Sonic can barely put a dent in them.
