Just bought on sale for my son and it just doesn’t start. Keeps looping a bit the crashes. Records 1 minute played. Really stupid and it is marked as fully supported by deck. Anyone troubleshoot? Tried to check files, use different proton versions same issue

I just checked how to game works on my steam deck and it boots fine and I'm able to run around in the islands. I'm running the game without any proton compatibility so I'd recommend trying to run it with no compatibility options. You can also try to uninstall the game then reinstall to see if that gets the game to work. Check for updates on the system tab in settings to make sure you are all up to date (my version is the stable channel on the stable client update) and maybe even try restarting the steam deck as switching proton versions when testing the game crashed the game with an offline error and I was forced to restart my Steam Deck.
