Talk about the eyes and the fps they can perceive
Topic changed because the people below changed it. Plus i beat the game 100% already with 1 minor hiccup. Great game highly recommend it. 8.5/10.

no, because uncapped/any fps above 60 will cause problems like sonic not being able to move. otherwise they would've included an fps option.
I guess I can play at 60fps will be choppy I'm just used to all my games running at over 120fps. And why do most games show no love to people with ultra wide gaming monitors.

You'll be fine with just 60fps, the game doesn't even need a higher frame rate like most other games.

Yea but after experiencing 120 to 144 fps everything lower looks like a stutter fest to me. Maybe i just trained my eyes to see stuff faster.

the human eye cannot tell the difference between 60 FPS and 144 FPS.

Mine can. And people only say this that can only play at 30fps to make themselves feel better.

mans is tripping you can definitely see the difference between 60 and 120 or 144
Use Lossless Scaling and use Frame Gen 2x for 60fps base frame rate and 120fps displayed
Or Frame Gen 3x = 48 base framerate and 144FPS displayed

Thanks. But i already get 144fps in full screen. I asked this before i bought the game which i beat already and got all the achievements. Good game and i had 0 problems except a very minor one where on first start up of the day it will minimize and i'll have to alt tab it to bring it up. But really no biggie.

I sure would like to know where this myth comes from. Nobody that actually has the hardware to run 120+ fps would ever say such a thing.

If you don't know what you're talking about then don't spread misinformation about it. It's not that hard.

They just might.

60 FPS is a very smooth frame rate, and for many things is indiscernible from anything faster. The higher tier laptops have variable refresh rates to go from 60 to 120 FPS on demand, because a lot of the time there isn't any need for a higher refresh rate.

I'd place my sensitivity to frame rate somewhere between 75 and 90 FPS, with 40 FPS being the lowest I prefer to go in video games.
