I use virustotal...
How many of the 90 some scanners on virustotal did it say it had a Trojan? What was the scanners name?

If it was only one or two and it was something like qutirra then it was a false postive.

The trojan is a false positive, the mod manager is actually absolutely safe. You need the HedgeModManager for modding games with no dedicated mod managers.

You can't. This is literally the only way you can install mods on the game. There probably is a method modifying the base files, but that would be very difficult for one person.
Also like the others said, false positive.
how do yall play this trash lol

If a program changes files without permission it will always come up as a 'trojan' you have nothing to worry about. Even if you did get one they aren't difficult to remove
Hedgemodmanager is required to easily modify Sonic Frontiers. It allows using .hmm to write code and inject files without altering the game's image file.

Hedgemodmanager is safe.
