unknown error and the game won't start

so i kept getting an unknown error even after deleting mod manager and unchecking save file redirection. i ended up deleting my saves thinking it was corrupted but now i just get a black screen after the opening logos. i tried retrieving my saves from the cloud, still doesn't work. i guess my game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

HMM uses a different save location. See if your save remains in that "redirected folder".

To fix the error, I think you (probably) just have to delete all folders/files created by the mods, including the game directory then re-install the game.
