Sonic Frontiers constantly freezing PC HOW to fix it ?????

When I started playing, my game started freezing during playthrough and I don’t know what’s causing it. Just for fun, I even set the graphics to the lowest and it didn’t even help, then I set the screen resolution to the lowest and guess what? and it didn't help, then I decided to reinstall clean Windows 11 and I reinstalled clean Windows 11 it didn't help either, if you know how to fix it, I would be very grateful.

My PC:

My video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
My processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz
My ram: 16 GB

it also for some reason sometimes make STEAM itself crash completely or it just freezes if i have microsoft edge open in the background, like wtfff, btw also tried all those "put it on high performance with nvidia and everything" shanenigans, but nada, just kinda makes it worse tbh, only lowering the quality helps a bit (+ not fullscreen, and most programs in the background closed) for anyone that's interested, but it's still random and inconsistent af, crashing while loading save files

OR EVEN (THIS JUST HAPPENED) while in game, the MENU KEEPS OPENING ENDLESSY, no matter how many times i close it, BRUH? TF IS THIS? 06?

Same problem as you, OP. Sad that this is still a thing and they still have not fixed the issue yet. This game is literally unplayable for me because of how bad this issue is. Unfortunately, I can't refund it even though I only put in 75~ mins into it (most of it is from the tutorial and main menu due to trying to figure out what's causing this issue.) I put this game in my backlog when I first bought it and didn't get to it way later on. It's crazy how I never heard of this issue in all the reviews that I've watched. If I had known, I never would've bought this game.

RAM is a bit low but unless you're running a ton in the background, it shouldn't be a big issue. It's more than likely a Windows 11 compatibility issue. I have some issues with the performance as well on Win 11 but not this bad. I have a 2060, i7 8700 and 32gb of RAM.

No reason why I should be having any issues running this other than poor optimization on Windows 11.

If anything, maybe benchmark your PC and see if you have any issues there. Otherwise, check your temps while attempting to run the game as well as your HDD/SSD write speed and usage. You may be bottle-necking for some reason.

Hey Guys i see in another thread a fix for this problem, I'm gonna copy here:

I have been in contact with Arthur, together we have made a code for HedgeModManager that will hopefully fix (or at the very least, severely reduce) freezing in both Open Zone and Cyberspace. It needs to tested though, we both plan on progressing through the game with this to see if any issues appear. Once tested we might see if we can get this as a Community Code for the mod manager.
If you want to help test this:
- Install HedgeModManager
- Download ExtraCodes.hmm into Mods Directory: https://github.com/RokkuDayo/SonicFrontiersFreezeFix/blob/main/ExtraCodes.hmm
- Enable the Code: Fixes -> Fix Freezes... (this might be renamed soon)

I played the game for 30 minutes, and it didn't freeze at any point.

And for what it looks like there is something wrong with how Denuvo dercripts Headhoge Engine 2 games on 8th gen and 9th gen
