SEGA RESPONDED MY E-MAIL ABOUT MY STRUGGLES WITH THE GAME

Well, I sent my complaint to Sega, and they responded to me, it seems that the update was "so big" that my PC can no longer run it because it is not so "powerful", excellent, I will ask for a refund right now, I don't want to have a $40 paperweight, it's frustrating, I saved money for a long time to be able to play it, I even bought a decent PC so I could play it fairly comfortably and now this happens, I'm sad :(

But hey, what do you recommend? Should I wait for some fan to create a mod that magically allows us to play? should i wit for a patch? or do I ask for a refund?

The components of my laptop:

HP Pavillion 15
8GB RAM
AMD Ryzen 7 4700U with Radeon

Unfortunately your PC does not meet the requirements to play the game at all or without any issues, please find below the requirements for this game:

Minimum:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660, 2 GB or AMD Radeon HD 7870, 2 GB
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 30 GB available space
Additional Notes: 720p Low @ 30 FPS. Requires a CPU which supports the AVX and SSE4 instruction set.

Your AMD Radeon Graphics Card is not supported and does not meet the games requirements.

You can try updating the graphics driver and also deleting/ removing the 'SonicFrontiers' Folder to see if it makes a differences. If not i'm afraid your current graphic card is not supported/ powerful enough.

I'm still trying to figure out how you played this before with fossil pc.

lol fossil? i buyed it this year! it has only 9 or 10 months, and i buyed it bc i'm not a person with much capital and i needed something good and accesible for my job, it's not a monster, but it was what I could afford, also I needed it urgently, my previous PC became unusable.

Aparently, many folks with integrated graphics cards are having this issue with update 3 and could play the game just fine before. The game's director also seems to be aware of the situation, so, wait for a patch. It also has a couple of weird bugs that probably will be fixed in the coming weeks.

when you bought it is irrelevant to technology. If thr components are like 10 years old model. most game require more then 8 gb nowdays.

Also laptops using integrated gpus currently can't run the game

yeah, i've been reading so many people with the same problem, i think we'll have to wait a bit, this update is a mess in so many ways xD

i know, i know, but like i said, this fossil can run the base game without any big problems, and yes, it seems the problem is with more with the integrated gpu's than the device itself, bc my components at least they meet the minimum requirements, we'll see if Sega fixes the problem or not

Also, Aes, I got pretty much exactly this message. I asked what the specific issue is, and they said it was the graphics card memory, even though Task Manager showed that it was the CPU struggling and the GPU memory wasn't near max.

I actually got nearly the exact same reply. Also, in my opinion, I think us PC players are experiencing these issues because of both the integrated GPUs and the use of DENUVO DRM for this game. It could just be one of them, but who knows.

What kind of graphics card does have? If it doesn't have one, then that might be the problem, since the laptop doesn't have an integrated graphics card.

I also sent a request to sega support, and tried to put all possible evidence not only that I am not the only one with this problem, but also what is happening and that indeed my pc meets at least the minimum requirements, I can only wait for a response.

Denuvo isn't new to update 3, is it? These problems are 100% new to update 3.
