Soap shoes expire?

I don't plan on buying the game yet, I want to wait until there's a 50% discount at least. But I already got the Soap shoes code from the Newsletter. Will I still be able to redeem the code next year when I get the game eventually?

I've seen this question asked before and have yet to see an answer.

No idea of DLC codes expire.
My gut tells me "probably not" but I haven't seen it in writing one way or the other.

Alternatively, I was thinking of buying the game, activating the shoes, then refunding the game and buy again once there's a bigger discount. But I don't know if a refund will erease the shoes code

If the code does not expire (i do not know if it does) why not just sign up to get the code and wait for the discount?

I already have the code, that's not the issue. My question is if it will expire or not.

The website and email do not mention any expiration dates for the code. You should be fine to hold onto it as long as no one makes a keygen and uses your code.

Thanks everyone for their answers. I will just hold onto it and hope that it has no expiration. And if they don't work, there's probably an alternative with mods

They shouldn't since they are given as a Steam key and normally Steam keys don't expire.

Steam keys almost never expire unless it's like 10+ years old. Unless you plan on buying Sonic Frontiers in 2032, you're fine.
