How Do You Exit The Game On Pc

So.. This is likely a very stupid question but outside of ALT+F4 i am not seeing any possible ways to quit out of the game when you are playing. I've looked under the start option and see nothing there, and under the select button option i only get the map.

So yeah .. I am very likely overlooking something extremely obvious but i haven't been able to close the game without ALT+F4... lol :)

Under start button i get "Options" only with then sub menu's for "Game Settings" / "Sound" / "Graphics" / "Controls".

Maybe the UI is messed up i am playing on Ultrawide 3440x1440 monitor in black border 16:9 scale

I am playing with a Razer Wolverine gamepad not an original x-box gamepad, perhaps that causes an issue. I can open the Map with select, and the options menu with start. But i get no options to quit out of the game or whatever.

It's under the data tab in the start menu, took me way too long to find it.

Well i think i have found the problem, you need to progress the game to a certain point to unlock the extra start menu tabs. (I just grinded the 1st cyberstage level for the achievements and wanted to quit out before)

In this video at 14 minutes 30 sconds after unlocking a skill point he gets to open the menu with an "Skills" and "Save Data" and "Options".

Guess i'll have to play a bit further :)

Perhaps we where looking for an ingame option to quit out ? Ofcourse there are many other methods to close, even referenced alt f4 in the original post.

It turned out that you had to progress the story to a certain point to unlock the save and loading menu's under start.

Apparently you have to get through the tutorial to get access to the “Save Data” tab in the menu, which is where the option to exit to the title screen is.

I know I'm necroposting, but heck, I literally just searched how to quit the game because I haven't progressed that far. I'm with Foosty, what bonehead thought that was a good idea?
