Sonic Frontiers treats my Switch Pro Controller as an Xbox controller

A is B, B is A, X is Y, and Y is X. None of my other Steam games are having this issue. Does anyone know how to fix this? (And yes I enabled Switch controller support in settings).

Go into your steam controller settings and enable Switch Pro Controller

the game already will detect it as a Switch controller. if you have Steam configured to swap the face button so they match the Xbox face buttons then they will be reversed. you can open the controller configurations from the game page in your library and load a custom controller configuration that swaps the buttons back if you only want it to change for that game

You have to go into steam big picture mode and set the support for switch controller on... i did that with my Dualshock 4 and is showing me Playstation prompts...

The game has it's own remapping, you can keep the in game controls the same but remap menu controls.

You don't need big picture to do that.
You can enable the Steam Input features without using Big Picture mode.
