Black bars for Ultrawide?
Are there black bars for users with ultrawide monitors. Or do you have to play on a lesser resolution making the picture quality stretch?

Hi, it has black bars. This is pretty much standard with JP games. There is supposedly already a UW fix. However, it might be with some issues. If you don't want to possibly spoil your experience with early UW fix, wait a bit. PC gaming community is really amazing and fast with fixes and mods, so something will pop up sooner or later.

The former.

It's a Japanese game. Unfortunately, lack of support for things that are out of the ordinary (ultrawide, >60 FPS, stuff like that) is the rule, not the exception.

I just laugh at 21:9 fools every chance I get. Should of done your research before wasting money on a meme display that 99% of media doesn't support. Also I'm waiting for crack, as if I'm giving Sega money after PSO2NG :steamfacepalm:

This fool really claimed ultrawide was a meme while saying 4k 144hz is standard. I hope for your sake you're trolling.

It looks like when you modify those values, it actually works pretty well with the proper UI aspect ratio scaling (16:9 centered on screen) as well.

Gonna investigate grabbing the vertical and horizontal resolution from the game, so I can possibly make a patch that automatically changes things based on the current screen resolution.

EDIT: It looks like from what I see, the biggest issue that needs to be addressed is the targeting crosshair being a little off when moving around fast, alongside stretching in cutscenes or some UI elements (like QTEs or the electricity on the ring/sprint meters).

Actually the biggest issue is the screen edge darkening or Vingette. We need someone to find the hex values to remove it. The black tunnel is massive on 32:9

Fools with more money than you and that can afford a better screen than yours. You're not laughing at anyone, you're just showing how jealous you are :steambored:

You know somebody with a 43" 4k 16:9 display can choose to display a 32" 21:9 1440x3440 image inside of it comfortably (with massive black bars above and below) but they never do because it's garbage. Why would you do that? Why would you cut off the upper and lower portions of your perfectly good 16:9 display? You fell for the ultrawide meme from 2019 kinda sad. Should of done your research. :steamfacepalm:

Literally all of your recently played games support ultrawide bud, all of my recently played games support ultrawide.

Laugh away while I drool over my AW3423DW. I'll enjoy filling my field of view while you waste pixels on the top and bottom you'll never look at, kiddo.
