Yeah I was just playing a bunch of Judgement & Lost Judgement (same developer as Yakuza for those who don't know, also published by SEGA). It supports ultrawide & unlimited FPS from the start. Its clear that SEGA doesn't prevent ultrawide or high FPS by policy as a publisher, its on Sonic Team to resolve this in the future.
I would almost be tempted to give them a pass if it weren't so clear this could have easily been done. Maybe it can run at high FPS & ultrawide, but crashes due to engine instability. Still on them. Maybe it needed more time in the oven.
