Here's an easy fix to solve the widescreen issue.
1. Go to the Nvidia control panel
2. Go to 3D Settings, then choose Manage 3D Settings.
3. Open the Program Settings tab, and from the drop-down menu, choose Sonic Frontiers.
4. Next, use another drop-down menu to choose the graphics processor you want to use for this program.
5. Lastly, your Nvidia GPU should show up as High-Performance Nvidia Processor.
6. Save the changes and enjoy the best Sonic game ever made. I cannot stress enough how good this is.

I don't see settings for changing fullscreen. I don't really understand step 4 and 5, can you maybe screenshot what you mean?
