IGN isnt one single person. Many of their reviews are good. And from what I've played, this review seems pretty accurate.

What's even the point of a 10-scale rating system if 4/5 of the scale just means "bad".

I'm not telling people what to do. I was just explaining the logic behind the opinion.
Never said 7/10 is bad. It's just not worth my time. As you grow older time becomes more valuable. And i'd rather spend it doing something else than play a 7/10 game.

I don't trust journalists since they are the reason of the tone shift in 2010, They litterally convinced Sonic Team to go full stupid and encouraged the ''be like Mario'' fad. Journalists have 0 taste and all they achieved in 10 years with their feedbacks about Sonic is demoralising the fans. I have no doubt that GoW is more AAA than Sonic but i'm ready to support any sonic games that go away from Sonic Colors bs right now. I'll be more fancy when I'll be sure this dark age is over.

Well, unfortunately, he is a bit right. I am a Sonic fan, but having to dedicate my time to work and kids, playing an open-world game that has a 73 on metacritic score is impossible.

I gave SEGA a chance on Sonic Forces and I've regretted.
