Something to keep in mind… I think Generations is also listed as Unsupported (though I’m convinced at one point it was listed as verified/playable, but it got downgraded).

With the exception of some frame rate drops, I’ve been able to play that game without any issues. Some people have tweaks that make it play better — but I haven't bothered because I haven’t experienced anything serious.

I don't see why they would advertise it as being supported on the Deck at TGS just for it not to work at launch. It'll probably change to supported when the game unlocks. I'm anticipating worst case scenario cutscenes/videos won't play correctly without the use of a workaround that needs to be applied or using ProtonGE. Workaround in question is WINE_DO_NOT_CREATE_DXGI_DEVICE_MANAGER=1 %command% in launch properties if it comes out tomorrow and everything but video playback seems to work. Valve has to manually apply these fixes per game but users can apply some fixes themselves before Valve pushes a Proton update.

At 20fps avg, in OpenGL, and after sitting for near 2 minutes letting the shaders compile, sure. It runs but god, you'd rather play Forces than run the entire venture in emulation.

although it may say "unsupported" on deck verification for what "runs" on deck is extremely strict even though you may not have issues with the game at all, however due to the fact the game runs on switch @ a locked but consistent 30 fps it is safe to assume that it will run just fine if not showing incorrect button prompts at its worst.

Runs well enough for a pre-release build. So much so that I will buy the game because after playing through the first island it tickled my fancy.
