Putting Denuvo on this is a joke and a waste of money.

But damn pirates will pirate the game and sega go bankrupt
Also - you mean gamers dont want restrictions?

I understand why Denuvo is added but the thing is eventually it will get cracked so there's is no point in adding it.

But now sega can charge $60 instead of $40 ($20 for Denuvo)

?

I'm not that stupid to buy an overpriced tag.

"Denuvo" Exit because it's an anti-piracy, It's a must to have

go blame "pro-piracy" people who share all illegal unpaid stuff via torrent, not devs.

yeah after a couple of months but you can't enjoy the new update or online future.

they can make Denuvo more harder but don't cry when you have less performance than before.

Don't think that's how that works. SEGA would still charge 60 because of the game... not because of Denuvo.

Denuvo is trash tho, please get it away.

Case in point, Elden Ring.

this game has online modes you can't compare it with an offline game.

also, you guys didn't hear that some devs increase the price tag in Turkey and Argentina because so many people abuse them?

Denuvo is mad to protect their stuff from abusers, like how you close your door to protect your house from theft.

denuvo is basically a DRM for a DRM it checks the license of your game to check if you own it by making hashes to signify you own it. it consistently makes these checks during gameplay using the cpu alot. case in point stuttering on weaker cpus. Denuvo sucks and wont stop piracy but will actually encourage crackers to crack it. piracy is a problem due to affordability as many people will buy a game they can pay for whilst a $60 game sure is pretty affordable considering how much games cost, it isn't affordable to many people which results in those wanting to play the games causing demand for a game and case in point a reason for piracy. there is really no other way then meeting a certain expectation to defeat piracy. so security measures such as denuvo are pointless and affect the game and the users which is not ever a good sign especially when they have paid for a premium experience.

then why you don't leave your door open?

Do you know you can open all door luck under 3-5 min without a key?

"but will actually encourage crackers to crack it."

that why it exists because steam DRM is easy to patch it unlike Denovo when you need to crack it or abuse glitch

Most of the time these companies spend more on Denovo than they lose from pirates.

No, but Elden Ring costs US$60 which was more or less the point I was trying to get across.
